The 2012 Special Edition is a cosmetic version of the VT750S roadster, mechanically the same as the standard bike. It wore a white paint scheme with a speed stripe and retro Honda logo, offered with red or yellow/gold accents, and cost slightly more than the base graphite-black model in the UK. Underneath it kept the chain-driven 745 cc V-twin, 19-inch front wheel and upright roadster riding position.
